Well it's the middle of March!
April 1st is only 17 days away. Let's not forget that practices start on April 1st. Warmer weather should be on the way...so we all hope!
We have 4 new players on our team this year. I would like to welcome Samantha, Kailey, Chanell, and Taylor. Our returning players are Erin, Danielle, Rachel, Megan, Katelyn, Maggie, Kerry, Hannah, Taylor. Hopefully, all the parents were able to choose their parent commitment of Concession Stand or Tag Day at registration. If you have any questions concerning your choice, please let me know.
The Chic Division has 5 teams this year. The teams are Grand Slams, Tornados, Sluggers, and The Storm. Again, all of our games will be held at Yukich Fields. There will be some night games, as there were last year. Something new will be a batting cage schedule. This will allow all the teams from Petite to Soph divisions to have equal amounts of time at the cage. The dates will be decided at the April monthly meeting.
I hope to use email as I did last year. It is a much easier way for communication than making 13 phone calls. If I do not have your email, please find my email address on th EPGSL homepage, under
email "The Board".
Well, get your mitts out. Grab your bats and batting gloves. Start streching--April 1st is coming fast!
